Our National Journeys
We currently mobilize Service Journey teams to several partner communities throughout the USA. These communities are in beautiful locations and provide wonderful opportunities for families, college teams, groups and individuals. Each location offers a variety of options for you to serve such as building ramps for campers with disabilities, remodeling cabins, landscaping, assisting housekeeping, cooking for the team, supporting a local community family and more.
During your free time, you can enjoy zip-lining, swimming, horse-back riding, playing in the game rooms, climbing rock walls, participating in sports of all kinds and many other fun options. Your "off" time is far from boring!
These Service Journeys are wonderful for people that want to stay in the USA and make a positive a difference in the lives of many.

Driftwood Education Center's mission is to cultivate a personal responsibility and awareness of for our aquatic ecosystems. Through our vast array of educational programming, all participants will continue to develop their social and life skills. Our learner-based classes and activities weave one concept to another through four main themes (intertidal zones, freshwater habit, terrestrial ecosystems, and stewardship) which promote personal growth and critical thinking. It is the hope of Driftwood Education Center that our participants will become responsible members of their community and continue to have a lasting desire to care for and preserve their aquatic resources. "Water helped ancient man learn those first lessons about the rights of others and responsibility to a larger society.... It became part of the moral and mental legacy parents passed on to their children." M. Meyer, "Water in the Hispanic Southwest"
