MBA Orlando, Friends & Family

The Journey

During this week we will adventure, serve and play in a beautiful region of Costa Rica. You will engage in meaningful service projects with our established partners in a few regions of Guanacaste. This team will enjoy both serving others and time for adventures while seeing the sights in this wonderful community. Join several partner projects as we feast on local cuisine, stay in nice accommodations, and get a true sense of the way life is in Costa Rica! All transportation and details are arranged before you arrive. This week will be filled with activities to engage in and also provide time on your own.

Led2Serve engages participants in hands-on service experiences. Any and all skills are welcome. These service experiences are customized for each journey depending on the team. Details on projects will be determined after talking with the specific Journey Leader, assessing the needs of the community at that time and working with the group. Projects may include: painting a local school, helping with a community garden project, reading or teaching English, a local reforestation projects, and more. Based on weather and partner availability, service experiences are subject to change.

Lodging and Meals:

During this week we will stay in La Fortuna and Nuevo Arenal. We will stay at San Bosco Lodge and the Arenal Observatory Lodge. Both facilities are close to town and local areas to explore. We stay in tico owned establishments, and support the local communities. Enjoy wonderful local meals with the freshest of fruits and veggies. Food allergies? No problem. If you have special dietary needs, just let us know. San Bosco Lodge has a beautiful pool, and hot springs near by with the facility. With the stay at the Observatory Lodge, the walking trails and birding is amazing. Not to mention the local cocktails :)!
