Cherokee, Senior Class

The Journey

This senior class trip will be quite special!  Students will engage in all kinds of adventure activities, while making a difference in a community! Imagine spending the morning rafting down the river, and the afternoon helping paint a local school with other kids. Or, spending the afternoon horseback riding in the mountains and exploring, after a morning of helping build a local playground. There will be tons of options as these seniors serve, learn, explore, and enjoy their senior class trip. * serve and adventure activites to be announced in the fall! Our partners in Cherokee are wonderful. Students will engage in activities to support team building, servant leadership, life skills and more. More details to come from ASA teachers and information on the serving project day with a local non-profit.

This Journey will adventure for two days, and have one day of local serving projects!

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS

Habitat for Humanity

Our partnership in Bryson City and Franklin, NC is with the local Habitat for Humanity. We join their efforts in supporting local homeowners in areas of ramp build, painting, and more.

Hotel Partner

Nestled in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains of Bryson City, NC , Nantahala Village is the ideal location for our Senior Class trip with the school.  We typically have the boys lodging in the Main Guest Houses and the girls in the Tree Houses. Chaperones are in cabins next door to each location! All food is provided and arranged with Led2Serve and local partners. Our bus can stay on-site, and the facility is perfect for the leadership development classes from our Journey Leader during the trip. Students can enjoy walking the trail or fishing near by during their team times.  Our whitewater rafting outfitters, zip-line partners and near-by miles of hiking and biking trails, are just minutes away.
